Open Call: Look Photo Biennial

Open Eye (Liverpool) launches open call as part of LOOK Photo Biennial 2022.

LOOK Photo Biennial 2022 focuses on themes of climate change and environmental issues. The biennial is accepting works by artists who use photography and visual culture as a way of understanding the past, present and future and how we can work towards creative solutions by focusing on sustainability, innovation and progress.

Submissions should be between 1 – 5 images relating to the climate and in particular focusing on themes of circular fashion, energy, travel and transport, non-human or animal. 

The works can be individual images, works in progress, or completed projects and will be shown in Open Eye Gallery from 14 July – 04 September 2022. The deadline for submissions is Friday 10 June 2022.

Images will be selected by the Open Eye Gallery team and selected artists will be contacted by Monday 20 June 2022. Submitted images should be sized to 72dpi. Selected photographers will need to be able to provide print files of 300 dpi.

Selected artists will receive an artist fee of £150.
